These two guys really touched my heart and loved getting their photo taken. They are both best friends whom are orphaned and living on the streets. They were such fun loving boys who said they want to be good at school and become a doctor and truck driver! The volunteers go every Tuesday and Thursday to aid with any medical issues for these kids and provide food, encouragement and fun. It is the highlight of my week ,hopefully it is the highlight of theirs too! #uganda#volunteering#RUHU#keepingthefaith#myhappyplace#wishicouldhelpthemall#ugandaslums
MY APPARITION ABOARD
My temple inanimate!
My apparition aboard!
I am a lose eidolon for now,
I am a free spirit on the road.
I have departed from my form,
as well as my form has departed
I have departed from my domicile;
Although I wonder if the spirit of
South Sudan shall ever depart from
me as well!
And if it ever departs from me, what
then shall I ever be to thence?
In my life or in my death;
Or ever after I am long long hence.
Oh poor lamenting mother!
What shall I ever be without your
unwavering-rebellious flag of hope
Shall I be a minuscule spirit, in
pursue of your vast fleeing spirit,
that shall equally in return, haunt
and pursue not any other but that
of my own?
Or, shall I be the homeless spectre
that I am right now, forever damned
to wander to and fro foreign land to
Or, shall my people and I continue to
be dispersed all over the countries
and the continents of the world.
(Seeking sanctuary, sheer from all
the countries of Mother Africa; and
from those of Europe, Asia, America
Oh, mother of many a people
Oh, mother of many a sons and a
daughters, whose lives in vain are
unceasingly being squandered!
Oh, mother of many a children
whose futures and tomorrows are
To you oh poor wailing mother, I
dedicate this rebelling song.
Oh yes, to you South Sudan I
dedicate these oozing lines and
verses of my throbbing soul.

An excerpt from a long piece that am still working on.
It's not only meant for my nation; but, also for each & all the countries of the world; "Especially those nations that are facing the same catastrophe and struggle!!!"
An inspiring evening spent at the village of hope through Raising up Hope for Uganda organisation. This village has been set up as a place of hope for those on the streets and orphaned. It sets them up with a 'mama' and a community they can feel a part of through participating in workshops, maintaining animals as well as becoming educated. Amazing work being done by team at RUHU and its all only possible with help of others! These kids have soo much suffering yet they are all still smiling, full of fun and hope! #uganda#volunteering#RUHU#villageofhope#appreciatewhatyouhave#myheartbleeds#bigbeesbigadventure
