In 2 days he will be 15 months!!! 😱 How is time flying by so fast???? Next time I blink he will be 18? I know they say the days are long, and the years are short- but right now, every minute feels short, like it’s cut in thirds. This weekend, we are taking a family day because we have been spending way too much time on projects for the house and not enough time together as a fam. Don’t want to look back and think what was I doing? Ya know? So I may be slightly absent from IG. What are you doing this weekend?
In Spain, we eat churros for breakfast. We eat many many churros for breakfast. At first, we order two dozens. Then two and a half. Then three. Of course, while the churros have to be of extraordinary, best-in-town-and-no-less quality, we all know they primarily serve as spoons for sugar. Much much sugar. The baby likes much much sugar. When her daddy cleverly poured big heaps out of her reach onto the greasy paper, she slid off her chair, ran around the table, squished into the five inch gap between wall and table and "EEEEH"ed at the chair until room was made for her to sit nearer the muchly muchness of the heavenly heap of sugar. The child hasn't fallen onto her head, as the Germans say when praising wisdom such as hers. Of course, her teeth will all fall out any day now.
"In Spain, I didn't brush my teeth at all, not even once," said the middle child wistfully once returned to his home and bathroom and stricter parental supervision. His teeth shall also all fall out any time soon. Oh, how sweet life was last week in Spain!
