But it did NOT always look this way. It used to look like this and I wanted to cry all the time because I just couldn’t imagine a day where this mess looked like my home.
And I can now say I have never been more happy to be wrong. Persevere friends. Your dream is worth it ✨
This week has been rough already - physically and mentally - and I’m just generally spent. It’s seriously taken me like three tries to even write a caption for this post. I try to be real on here, and sometimes, it’s just a night where I come home from work and immediately put on sweats, take my makeup off, take a nap, and do the dishes. I needed some down time in a bad way, and I’m glad I just listened to myself. ❤️
That point above my head was the first summit I ever stood on. There was a lot less snow on the ground, I was wearing running shoes and I don’t think I even brought water or a backpack. I was trying to impress a boy. Well, its been the better part of a decade and a lot of things have changed but every time I pass this mountain I can not help but show it gratitude for all of the doors it has opened for me. My recent road trip with @toyotacanada was all about the places that brought me to where I am and this mountain was a huge part of it.
I have a sick obsession with lululemon. I wish I was sad about it. 💦 #thursday
Don’t you love digging your toes in the sand and letting your feet sink deep? The healing feeling of being barefoot on the beach is known as the grounding effect. It is said that Earth has a slightly negative charge and can neutralize positive free radicals in the human body. The grounding effect works while stepping on grass and soil as well. What do you think of this phenomenon? I definitely have experienced a calming, healing feeling after being barefoot in the sand! Have you? 👣👣
