Well, guys, I'm officially coming to the end of my first full day of island life! In terms of SW, the food is DISASTROUS. Cheese sandwiches and homemade scones galore that the bean an tí (woman of the house) makes for us 🙈 I don't mind too much, as it's only a fortnight, and we're in such a beautiful spot that I don't want to spend too much time worrying about food. I'll make good choices as much as I can, and of course I'll be straight back on food optimising when I get back! 👊
Well, this week was actually my last weigh-in for March because I've had to book two weeks holiday to spend a fortnight in the Gaeltacht (completely Irish-speaking area) on the Aran Islands for college! Am seriously nervous to be honest! Also, I have little to no control over what I eat, because all meals are made and served by the bean an tí (literally 'woman of the house', who is basically our mammy for the week in our accommodation), so foodie posts may be a bit few and far between, but I'll try my best!
A word about this month's weight loss...no, it's not as much as I've lost in the last 2 months by any stretch of the imagination, BUT it's still gone in the right direction, so I'm happy with that 😊 Onwards and downwards!
