But I’ll be conducting another one soon. I started off the interview by asking him about his first day. “ We were hired on January 1, 1963 and on the 2nd of January we were down at the drill tower. Around 9am Diffen (Drillmaster) pulled out old service truck 517 and says now boys we’re going to do ladders. We have a selection that goes from 12 feet to 24 feet to 35 feet and then 50 feet. We’re going to raise the 50 foot first because if we start with the smaller ladders you’re going to look over at the 50 foot ladder and it might intimidate you so we’re going to raise the 50 first. At the end of the first day he said boys you’ve earned your beans for today.” Training lasted just little over 3 weeks. Our HS/Collegiate Summer Baseball, Volleyball and Football crew’s are going to be very familiar with PAP (Post-Activation Potentiation) training methods by the end of July 🏐🏀⚾️🏈💪🏋️‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨💨💨💨 I have been quietly tinkering with it for a while. I’m 38 years old, the only thing I’ve ever done fast is eat and I have still increased every measurable I have on myself quite a bit . . This is an easily misunderstood technique. What does bilateral squatting (using both legs) have to do with baseball? (Obviously Volleyball, Football, Basketball players, etc don’t ask this question but the benefits still apply) That is a very fair question, the answer is, Rate of Force Development (RFD) or the ability generate force in a rapid manner . . . Strength is THE fundamental building block of athletic performance but it’s not the whole pyramid. It only seems that way because frankly, most young athletes are incredibly weak, so when you give them just a little bit of strength they look like Olympic athletes compared to their former selves but what happens after that? . . . . Strength, at higher levels of athleticism, is only as good as the speed with which you can apply it. If you train to boost performance, you eventually need to train for RFD because aside from Power lifters, marathoners and triathlon-ers, powerful AND fast ALWAYS wins . . . . For older athletes that are already strong(that is kind of the “catch” if there is one), that have participating in a strength program I truly believe this is a game changer. I can honestly say I feel very strongly this summer we are going to make gains that no one in our area has ever seen before. If that sounds good to you, DM me. If it doesn’t, don’t. 💐🌿🍠A boquet de garni of light savory, thyme and Bay, plus some pink pepper and a few cloves. Sunk to the bottom of a soup pot with some pig bones, qaurtered garlic cloves and all the year old green onions I could dig up. ☣️ ☣️ Into a pot with a legume most loved: Chana dal. Yellow split pea. Was almost as satisfying as the traditional green mush. Decent texture, once it was well blended, but only after. ☣️ ☣️ After mushing into mushy mushlike mush (before the root veg goes in) for about an hour over a smokey fire I've got some ideas for G2D2. My method needs improving if I'm gonna stay cooking on this ashy smoky open fire 🤔🔥🛢️ ☣️ ☣️ A bit of garden parsley makes things # #FAF . I am blessed to have this job at such a good department. I love what I do good times and the bad. I've loved emergency services since I started volunteering in my home town 7 years ago. Worked 3 years on the ambulance in Gadsden alabama and now working for Rome fire. I have God and allot of good poeple to thank for teaching me and training me. I appreciate everything that I've learned over the years and i can't wait to learn more. If I had any advice for someone going into this field it's that everything is a learning experience even when you mess up you learn something from it. I love my job good night to all. #RFD

Fast Eccentric Split Squat Fast Eccentric Training ( joint angular velocities in excess of 180 degrees/second) Fast eccentric training is a great way to improve strength, power and speed performance! This type of training has been found by research to have many neural, morphological and architecture adaptations: • increased proportions of fast twitch fibers = increase in contractile speed • increased fascicle length and potential for increase in number of sarcomeres in series = increase in contractile speed •increases stiffness = increase in RFD (rate of force development) •positive performance implications especially in Stretch Shortening cycle. Performance in sport is not only about force production but first and foremost the athlete need to be able to ABSORB forces rapidly and tolerate stress. 👋Introducing G2D2🤖, my 100%Scavvd cooktop, fire pit, burn barrel and modular cooking system.🔬🛠️ I've hinted here and there about this guy, but after a few meals and some practice I can see where I'm headed next with the stainless steel lil bugger. ☣️ ☣️ ⏰Before this thing I was using a bottomless galvanized burn barrel🔥 🛢️🛢️🔥set inside a water heater evap tray. 💦 Not easy to cook on, as everything was high heat and nothing was balanced or sturdy. ☣️ ☣️ Now, after a year of searching, I've got a system I can work with and modify until the cows come home.🐄🏚️ Next step is an appropriate oven cover (might use the old trash can) and then wood gas collection and distribution (well under way) If you don't know about wood gas don't worry--ill be yammering on about it soon enough. 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ ☣️ ☣️ If you do know any 2stroke woodgas carbeuration /tips holler achya boy.
