😂 Wouldn't that be dreamy?⠀
Okay, so while we don't have kids of our own yet, many of those undertaking our Zura transformational journey do. And this comes up a lot: how do we inspire healthy change to our families?⠀👨👩👧👦
Truth is, we only have the power to change ourselves. But the greatest gift to give your fam is to lead the way - consistently showing up to embody your values of health, vitality + living an active, clean lifestyle will ooze out of you without even trying. If you stick to your ideals of cooking nourishing meals, moving your body, staying hydrated + gradually clearing the toxic debris of what no longer serves you, you'll RADIATE. ✨Naturally, you can invite your kiddies toward your lifestyle change without pressure. Maybe it's trying a kids yoga class together to introduce mindful movement, or allowing your child to build their own bowls when you have family meals, so they can pick from their intuition. ⠀
Our favorite way to incorporate veggies into our meals is with smoothies, soups, sauces, muffins, and veggie or meat balls. We have also found that kid’s when involved in the cooking process become more open to eating different things.⠀🌮🥙🍝

How have you introduced your children to your healthy lifestyle? What have you found to be most successful?⠀👇🏽

Happy Birthday Dad! You would have been 75 today 💖 You might not know this...but my Dad’s journey with colon cancer is why I went to medical school and why my practice is named The Paulson Center for Integrative Healing to honor my favorite Angel Investor 😇🤓 When you walk into The Paulson Center you are greeted by a little love note from me to you flavored by the lessons learned from a Daddy’s Girl 💗
So…what’s in a name? Why is this space called The Paulson Center? 🤓
Glenn Paulson, was a humble man with a great heart. He was the kind of friend, neighbor, brother, and Dad that would put everything aside to help you out. He loved being quiet and fully present, listening to every detail, absorbing, and witnessing other people’s lives. Decades after his death from colon cancer, I still get notes from co-workers, old friends, and mentees about the ways their lives continue to change for the better because they knew Glenn Paulson. 😇
It is with great love and humility that The Paulson Center for Integrative Healing is named after Glenn Paulson. He did not know that his experience with colon cancer would lead to this space for healing, but I know that he would want nothing more for his life then for every human to experience love and healing. Like he treated every friend and neighbor, I know that he would want to help ease whatever is causing dis-ease in anyone that comes to the space of his namesake. 😇
Some of the core beliefs that Glenn Paulson held and we strive to uphold here are: • Always be in service to others
• See both sides of any situation
• Actively seek to understand the nature of human suffering
• Bring compassion and love to those who need it…and we all need it
• Love unconditionally, even when it does not make sense to others
• Give BIG HUGS
• Always find ways to play and remain childlike
• When the waves knock you down, stand back up and try again
It is with the spirit of a helping friend, neighbor, or loved one that we welcome you. We hope you feel the love, compassion, and dedication to service while being held in the arms of The Paulson Center.
Happy belated St. Patrick’s day! Today is your lucky day! Most people think of smoothies containing only fruit... However, many have trouble getting their daily requirement of veggies. When you make a green smoothie, the taste of the greens is hidden by the taste of the fruit, so you don’t even notice the veggies are there! Win/Win!!! 🍀 📷: @headstandsandheels
