Who else loves watching Naturopath Barbara O’Neill’s lectures on YouTube? 💕
That’s where I first learned of the term poultice. I tried out an onion poultice on my feet over night when I felt a possible cold coming on and it cleared me up 😊 i use more cayenne thanks to her too now #Barbaraoneill#naturopathy#food#medicine
🚨WE HAVE AN INTERESTING AND ENTERTAINING STORY BEHIND THIS INJURY🚨
“I was doing something not smart, quite stupid actually. For a personal DIY project I made a metal foundry to melt metal. I also had a friend bring me a bucket of brass bullet casings. And in that bucket was a mix of brass and nickel casings. So I wake up this morning quite bored nothing to do remembering that I have a bucket of brass I might as well sort through. And I'm sitting there in my garage sorting, silver and gold colors casings when I find in the bucket a few live rounds. I take those out because they would be a safety hazard if they were put in the foundry. I take them out and collect the live rounds in a steel soup can. By the time I'm done probably after 2 hours I have a can of 10 live rounds. And with my gun being a total different caliber and model, I decided that it would be a good idea to set a round in a bench vice horizontal in a safe direction. And then take a nail, held inside a pair of channel locks and fire the bullet with a hammer. So that's just what I did. I had eye protection and ear muffs on but no gloves. And I took 2 swings at it creating a dent but no ignition. And then I had a wave of wisdom come over me that said you moron that's not a good idea don't do that. But I didn't listen, I take a third swing and it goes off the next few seconds were a flash. The casing being outside the gun chamber the reaction had no safe place to happen so a, chunk of brass casing flew into my left hand at great force. Next to my thumb and index finger. I run inside tell my brother to grab my trauma bag and it wasn't a tourniquet required situation but it was definitely bad. I had to remove the piece of brass and then wrap in gauze. The piece of brass did touch bone and it was deep but it didn't hit a vein. I was lucky. And at this point it is still pretty bad. The one thing I learned is that stupid hurts.”

🗣Tell Us What You Think
So it’s official...I just signed the lease to our FIRST medgeeks office. It’s a pretty crazy thought to think we’ve come this far 🤓 after all this started with a simple podcast.
This is a picture of me taking a selfie in my home office - from which I was able to grow our company to what it is now. This office will never be used again which is why I wanted to take this picture right now RIP 😂.
Nevertheless I’m really proud, of not only the work I’ve put in, but with the work our team has put in - who helps make this what it is today @gbphel4828@walkercw36@realdanchampigny 🙌🏼.
We have some big plans for 2018 and I can’t wait to get back to work.
Go get yours everyone!! Happy Thursday :)
Essa é uma das muitas lembranças que tenho do meu primeiro estágio como interna. A Ginecologia e a Obstetrícia me trouxeram experiências que jamais pensei viver... Conheci pessoas, vidas, almas! Abracei mães, consolei famílias... Vi nascer! Vi milagres acontecer!
São tantas histórias! Tantas!! Cada uma vivida intensamente! Vocês que me acompanham pelos stories devem lembrar do horário que eu saia do hospital! Rs Mas foram momentos únicos! De muito aprendizado! Muitas perguntas a Deus! Muitas conversas! Seja! Faça! Viva o seu propósito!
A medicina é linda! E sou grata por estar colhendo desse sonho! Obrigada, meu Senhor!!! ❤
