Bathing into the spring vernal equinox. Today is the #FirstDayofSpring and also #InternationalDayofHappiness . Spring is the season associated with new beginnings, growth, fertility, rebirth and healing.
The ceremony part of the bath focuses on coming into greater alignment with your life, allowing the seeds you have planted to take root and grow. Jasmine is the essential oil used, it is called the “Queen of the Night” as its fragrant odor intensifies at night.
Enticing ‘Mikveh’ Bath Formula for Spring:
1/2 cup Himalayan salt
3 cups @drteals Epsom Magnesium Sulfate Salt-Soaking Solution
6 drops @sajewellness Jasmine 100% Absolute Essential Oil
1 tablespoon @marrakech_express argan oil
Pesticide/Herbicide-free Carnations, backyard Ferns and Jasmine flowers
Sage/Sweetgrass Smudge Stick
Selenite, apophyllite and fluorite on the tub rim
Rose quartz and clear quartz terminated crystal points
First, smudge the bath, bathroom, the entire house and yourself with a sage smudge stick (if you’re sensitive to smoke then try a smokeless sage spray), as you smudge, set a healing intention for the bath. Place selenite, apophyllite and fluorite on or around the tub; next, place the essential oil, rose quartz and clear quartz terminated crystals and bath salts on the bottom of the bath and add warm water to the tub using your hand to stir the bath in a clockwise fashion. As always, at this point I recommend putting on music, dimming the lights and/or lighting candles. When the tub is almost full, add the whole flowers to the tub.
Place jasmine essential oil onto your crown, temples and heart, then consciously enter into the tub, into your being. Ahh. Take a slow, deep breath…soak. Stay present. Acknowledge all the work, effort and ideas that have gotten you here. Clear your mind, come back to the breath. You are enough. Drink water. Hydrate. Growth comes from your continuous effort. Come back to the breath. Self-love is real love.
