"One of the most widely used words when it comes to horse training is communication. “I wish to have a good communication with my horse”. I would like everyone who has ever spoken the above sentence to think about what communication really means and what *kind* of communication one desires.
Does it mean “I want to be able to tell my horse to do this and that with small signals”?
To me... that is not enough. I’m not interested in a monologue. I used to be! I took pride in having my horse follow the tiniest cues and quietly wait for instructions. Nowadays, my greatest pride is when my horse raises his voice and says “look what I can do”! When there’s a two way communication, where both parts exchange information and emotions. What is your horse trying to tell you - *really*?
