Real talk: in a lot of ways I'm living the life I've always dreamed of. I've got a full client load as a therapist, I lead weekly a mindfulness class, two weekly yoga classes, I get to TA for my mentor, I recently got the opportunity to be an adjunct college professor this semester (WHAT!? 😳) I'm writing a dissertation. But at the same time I'm absolutely drowning. Like barely holding it together this semester. I have this theory that we grow into the roles we're given and the last month has really stretched me to the brink. When I'm exhausted and know I can't stop, I try to find time to rest. Whether it's finding an empty room to take a 20 minute savasana or just dropping everything to bake some brownies. Brownies are IMPORTANT. I made @bonappetitmag phyllo butternut and kale phyllo pie over a month ago before life got crazy. It was almost as good as the abnormally warm weather that we took advantage of by eating it outside on our patio!
