Frosty mornings call for lightweight knits...we love @imonnimelbourne's 100% cotton knitwear range. The tonal star print on the Astor Knit is sweetly subtle 💫 shop the look in store at Hunter and online...
Finished a hat! I made this almost from scratch, it’s my first skein of handspun merino linen, it’s thick and thin and horribly inconsistent and I love it! It’s divinely soft and warm. I didn’t have a pattern for the hat, just started knitting around and then did some random decreasing at the top. Weaving in the ends and sewing on the pompom was the hardest bit.. the thick and thinness of the yarn made that quite hard work!
Finished my Garter Yoke Cardi a few days ago. Noro Silk Garden 279 For the yoke part and Cascade 220 Heathers colour No 8012 for the body. I'm quite happy with it. I haven't blocked it or hand washed it yet, Im hoping it doesn't grow too much once washed! I could of knitted the sleeves a bit longer but I made allowance for the sleeves to grow once washed. Because of my shawl I knitted with cascade and Noro Kuryon grew more than I expected, which was fine for my shawl but I don't want my cardigan to grow to much! But I do love how warm this cardigan is! Photo credit @iia9407 Jess took the picture this morning she been wonderful friend driving Sian to preschool and me to the chemist to pick my crazy expensive asthma medication! I was in hospital last night due to my asthma flaring up from chest infection! But feeling a bit better today just tired and drained that why my head chopped off in the picture 😉 I'm having a breakfast burger to get my energy levels up, I have all this knitting to do! 😆😆😆😉 #garteryokecardigan#knitting#knittersofinstagram#cardigan#cascadeyarns#cascadeheathers#norosilkgarden#norolove#knittinglove#autumnknits#autumnknitting#breakfast
