In this current ‘sweat culture’ where by people are led to believe that intensity is indicative of efficacy - I really want to reiterate that an effective training session doesn’t ALWAYS have to feel like you’re clinging to the last breaths of your life. Keep those kinds of workouts to a maximum of once (Maybe twice if you’re really chilled AF) per week (and even then, if you’re highly stressed that kind of training is pointless), and on the days you’re not training for a spartan war, try weight lifting with longer rest periods or an ashtanga yoga class or Reformer Pilates or brisk walk in nature with Bae.
It’s Monday so you have the chance to look at your week with fresh eyes and schedule in HEALTH - not just fitness.
